A vignette is a small picture that fades into its background. This so perfectly describes Vignette's coat that she always gets called Vignette, or sometimes just "Pretty". She is not just a simple black and white tuxedo cat. Vignette's dark fur is black on the outer edges, and silver underneath next to her body. This gives her a shimmering, constantly changing pattern in her coat. The white whiskers on her face are striking!

Vignette has a loud purr, loves neck rubs and head scratches. She is still getting used to lap time, but already loves being held under your chin for snuggles.
Vignette is sweet, gentle, and just a bit shy. She generally likes to approach you in her own time, though she is easy lured by the wand toy! She prefers calm and quiet over the hustle-bustle of a busy household.

Vignette loves to roam and explore the house - closed doors are very frustrating for her! Like her brother Nike, she prefers games of chase rather than wrestling, though she can hold her own. Her favourite toy is the feather wand. She likes to sleep anywhere cozy, such as cat beds or cat trees. Sleeping alone or with siblings is equally favoured, but a bed with a view (window) is the best of all!

Vignette's butt wiggle to wind her up for the big leaps, and meowing piteously when wanting a door opened are two things that just crack her foster mom up. She has a soft, pretty coat of fur that makes shimmering patterns that peek through with every stroke. She is gentle, and good-natured, and gets along with everybody.

She is great with all other cats, a gentle and passive addition to a group. She has not been exposed to other animals. She would do best in a quieter home. She'd be a good cat with older, cat-savvy kids.
