Description
Update Oct 9: Our 3 white kittens are quickly growing up in the shelter and would love to find homes. Spot, Spicy and Smudge arrived in mid-July found on the side of the road with no mother, and they were quite feral at approx. 8 weeks of age. With time in their foster home and safe interactions at the shelter they have have made leaps and bounds. Spot is the most social of the three, and he can easily play with you and engage, Spicy the female is very curious and will approach if you are quiet and she's got sass enough to give you a look if you are being "too much". Smudge is very gentle but prefers to watch a lot of the goings on. All three are gentle but will cringe a bit when hands are over their heads. They would love to find a home(s) where their family would continue to let them blossom at their own pace. They are not really candidates for a young child home as they would not appreciate being restrained or overly handled. Please visit them at the shelter. They would now be about 5 months of age. Spot is the largest of the 3 and Spicy is quite petite.

SPECIAL HOMES FOR SPECIAL KITTENS - We have 3 of these little babes, 1 female, 2 male Spicy, Smudge and Spot - who were brought in as an emergency through Ca-R-Ma mid-July. They just came in from foster care for their spay/neuters and are looking for patient, loving home(s). They were not found until the critical socializing window for kittens had passed, so they are still quite fearful of human reactions, responding by shutting down, not lashing out. In cases like these usually they would have been fixed and released back with a caretaker, but that was not an option in this case, with no mama or caretaker available. We have had successful adoptions of these types of kittens in the past and they do reach a point where they can trust their caretakers, but may never be social butterflies. If you think you might be able to offer these babes a loving home, please stop into the shelter. Spicy arrived at the shelter on July 12, 2019. She is a short haired white female, estimated at 8 weeks old.
