Description
I’m looking for a caring and experienced home for my bunny, Gus. He’s a Netherland Dwarf, neutered, and about 1 year and 9 months old. This has been a really tough decision, but due to personal circumstances, I can’t provide the long-term care he needs. I want to make sure he goes to someone who can give him the best life possible.
About Gus:
???? Neutered & Vet-Checked – Currently being treated for syphilis and walking dandruff (has some hair loss under his chin). He’ll need follow-up care and testing to figure out the cause of his hair loss and weight loss.
???? Slightly Underweight – We’re working on getting his weight up with a proper diet.
???? Personality – He can be friendly and curious but also shy depending on his mood. He needs patience to warm up.
???? Litter Training in Progress – Mostly good with pee but still working on droppings.
???? Favorite Foods – Loves Timothy hay, cilantro, parsley, and occasional dried banana treats.
???? Best as a Solo Pet – Male bunnies can be territorial, and he may not do well with other rabbits, especially other males.
What’s Included:
✅ Large enclosure (playpen-style setup)
✅ Litter box & hay feeder
✅ Food & Water Bowls
✅ Bag of Timothy hay
✅ Pellets & Treats (including his favorites: hay chew sticks & dried banana treats)
✅ Toys & Chews (variety of chew sticks, tunnels, and enrichment toys)
✅ Grooming Supplies (brush & nail clippers)
✅ Cleaning Supplies (litter, pee pads, etc.)
Rehoming Fee: $150
This is to ensure he goes to a responsible home and includes everything listed above.
Looking for Someone Who:
✔ Has experience with rabbits (or is willing to learn)
✔ Can provide proper vet care and a stable home
✔ Will keep him as a beloved pet (not for food, breeding, or resale)
If you’re interested, please message me with some details about your experience with rabbits, your home setup, and why you’d like to adopt Gus. I just want to make sure he finds the right home!
